Strategic Vision: “Farm to Foreign”
The PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park in Virudhunagar is a cornerstone of India’s 5F vision: Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign. Launched as India’s first PM MITRA park in 2023, it received a final central allocation of ₹1,900 crore in July 2025 to accelerate its completion by September 2026.
